Frequently Asked Questions

Which Nissan is best for a family?

It depends on the size of your family and how you drive. The Nissan Rogue is the most popular choice for small and growing families: it seats five, comes with standard Intelligent AWD and offers up to 2,098 L of cargo space. If you need more seats, the Pathfinder has a standard third row for 7 or 8 passengers, and the Armada seats up to 8 with the most space in the lineup. Families who want to save on fuel can also look at the 7-seat Rogue Plug-In Hybrid.

Which Nissan SUVs have a third row or seat 7 or more?

Three Nissan models offer seating for 7 or more. The Pathfinder is a three-row midsize SUV with seating for 7 (with second-row captain's chairs) or 8 (with a bench). The Armada is Nissan's full-size SUV and seats up to 8. The Rogue Plug-In Hybrid also offers a 7-seat layout, which makes it one of the few plug-in hybrid SUVs with room for a bigger family. You can browse all of our new Nissan SUVs in one place.

Which Nissan is best for commuting and fuel economy?

For commuting in Abbotsford and along Highway 1, the Sentra and Kicks are efficient, easy-to-park choices, with the Kicks rated as low as 6.6 L/100 km on the highway. To use less gas, the Rogue Plug-In Hybrid can cover up to 61 km on electricity alone, enough for most daily drives. The all-electric ARIYA and LEAF use no gas at all.

What is the most affordable new Nissan?

The Nissan Kicks and Nissan Sentra are the most affordable places to start in the Nissan lineup. Both come well equipped. For example, every Kicks includes heated front seats and Zero Gravity seating. Pricing changes with trims, incentives and current offers, so check our current Nissan promotions and incentives or browse our new inventory for up-to-date pricing.

Which Nissan is best for towing?

For towing, compare the Nissan Frontier, Pathfinder and Armada. The Frontier midsize pickup has a standard V6 and can tow up to 6,680 lbs. The Pathfinder delivers 295 hp and can tow up to 6,000 lbs, which is plenty for many travel trailers and boats. The Armada, with its 3.5L twin-turbo V6, is the most capable towing SUV in the Nissan lineup. Towing capacity varies by trim and equipment, so always confirm the rating for the specific vehicle you are considering. Our team is happy to help match the right vehicle to your trailer or boat.

Which Nissan models have AWD or 4x4 for BC winter driving?

Most of the Nissan SUV lineup offers all-wheel drive. The Rogue comes with standard Intelligent AWD and five drive modes, the Rogue Plug-In Hybrid is all-wheel drive, and the Kicks offers available Intelligent AWD with a Snow mode. The ARIYA is available with dual-motor e-4ORCE AWD. For more capability, the Pathfinder, Armada and Frontier offer 4x4 systems. For trips up the Coquihalla or to the mountains, pair AWD or 4x4 with a good set of winter tires. Our Service & Parts department can help you get winter-ready.

Does Nissan offer electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles?

Yes. Abbotsford Nissan offers two fully electric models, the Nissan ARIYA SUV and the all-new Nissan LEAF, along with the Nissan Rogue Plug-In Hybrid. Electric models produce zero tailpipe emissions and can lower your fuel and maintenance costs. The plug-in hybrid gives you electric driving for short trips with a gas engine for longer ones. Coming in November 2026, the all-new Rogue Hybrid with e-POWER adds a hybrid that never needs to be plugged in. See all of our new electric Nissan models in stock.

How far can a Nissan EV go on a single charge?

The Nissan ARIYA offers up to 490 km of range on select trims, and the all-new Nissan LEAF offers up to 488 km of range on select trims. Real-world range depends on trim, speed, terrain and temperature. Cold weather and highway speeds reduce range, so plan for less range in winter. Both models support fast charging for longer road trips.

What is the difference between an electric vehicle and a plug-in hybrid?

A fully electric vehicle (EV), like the ARIYA or LEAF, runs only on battery power. You charge it at home or at public chargers and never buy gas. A plug-in hybrid (PHEV), like the Rogue Plug-In Hybrid, has both a battery and a gas engine. You can drive up to 61 km on electricity, and when the battery runs low the gas engine takes over, giving up to about 679 km of total range. A PHEV is a good choice if you want to drive mostly on electricity but don't want to rely on charging for long trips. Not sure which fits your driving? Contact us and we'll walk you through it.

What is the Nissan Rogue e-POWER Hybrid?

The all-new 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid is the first Rogue powered by Nissan e-POWER. It keeps the space and versatility that made the Rogue Nissan's most popular SUV, and adds a quick, quiet and efficient hybrid drive, with an estimated 5.9 L/100 km in the city. Every trim comes with Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive, and available features include dual 14.3" screens, Google built-in, a panoramic moonroof, quilted TailorFit seating and a 10-speaker Bose Premium Audio System.

How does Nissan e-POWER work?

e-POWER is a different kind of hybrid. The wheels are always driven by electric motors, which gives you the instant torque and smooth, quiet acceleration of an electric vehicle, with no traditional transmission. A small gasoline engine works only as a generator to charge the battery and power the motors. That means you fill up with gas like any other vehicle and never need to plug in. Nissan's Smooth Stop technology also makes braking smoother, especially in stop-and-go traffic.

What is the difference between the Rogue Hybrid e-POWER and the Rogue Plug-In Hybrid?

Both are electrified Rogue SUVs with all-wheel drive, but they suit different drivers. The Rogue Plug-In Hybrid has a larger battery that you charge by plugging in, giving up to 61 km of all-electric driving, and offers seating for 7. The Rogue Hybrid e-POWER is never plugged in: the gas engine charges the battery, and electric motors drive the wheels all the time. Choose the Plug-In Hybrid if you can charge at home and want gas-free daily commutes, or the e-POWER Hybrid if you want EV-like driving and better fuel economy without changing how you refuel.

When will the Rogue e-POWER arrive at Abbotsford Nissan?

Nissan Canada says the all-new 2027 Rogue Hybrid arrives in late fall 2026, and we expect the first vehicles at Abbotsford Nissan in November 2026. Pricing, trims and availability will be confirmed closer to launch. Contact our team to ask about availability and be among the first to see and test drive the Rogue Hybrid e-POWER in the Fraser Valley.

Is the Rogue e-POWER good for BC winters?

Yes. Every 2027 Rogue Hybrid comes standard with Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive, using two electric motors to deliver instant traction. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are standard, and available drive modes include Snow and Off-Road. Nissan backs the hybrid battery with an 8-year/100,000 km limited warranty (whichever comes first). For the Coquihalla and mountain driving, pair it with a good set of winter tires.

Which Nissan is best for camping and off-road adventures?

Nissan offers several adventure-ready trims. The Rogue Rock Creek and Pathfinder Rock Creek add rugged styling and more trail capability to Nissan's most popular SUVs. The Frontier PRO-4X is built for off-road driving, logging roads and backcountry camping. The Armada PRO-4X brings that off-road attitude to a full-size, 8-seat SUV. All of them are great matches for weekends at Cultus Lake, Chilliwack Lake or the Fraser Canyon.

Which Nissan is the most fun to drive?

The Nissan Z is Nissan's performance icon. It has a 400-hp twin-turbo 3.0L V6, rear-wheel drive and an available 6-speed manual transmission. If you want performance with more practicality, the electric ARIYA delivers instant acceleration, and the Armada's twin-turbo V6 gives a full-size SUV strong, quick power.
